Whether your a blogger or just out of college working an entry-level job. We all probably have aspirations to travel and of course, build your credit to one day buy your dream car or house without a hassle. Now what made me focus on getting this credit card was a time when Parmida and I were traveling back from visiting family for Christmas, and the airline lost our bags. To this day we don't know where it is and guess what we paid on a debit card. So instead of dealing with our credit card provider and having that assurance, I had to go through the airline and guys you don't want to do deal with that. You talk about a waste of time trying to fight for an equal amount of what value was in your bag.

So I went on to inquire about not dealing with this situation again and stubbled upon Chase Sapphire Preferred. This card has been a life saver and my everyday card.

Now here are my five reasons why I like it from a Millennial POV.

1 - The Sign-up Bonus
Probably the #1 reason why a lot of people go for this card is the bonus points. The Chase Sapphire Preferred, sign up bonus alone can pay for a flight overseas or a nice little vacation in the states, but either way, this is a good jump start for anyone new to how credit card points work. Also, these points never expire or have a limit.

2 - 25% on Bonus Rewards
So say you have 50,000 points or just your sign up bonus, that is equal to $500.00, which can be cashed in, use for gift cards or you can use them through chase travel portal to be worth $625. I consider this our travel savings, so this is amazing and can be handy if you find the right time to book cheap flights.

3 - Double on Travel & Dining
If you eat out a lot as I do then this is an extra perk you'll love. Just means when you take an Uber, book a trip or hotel, go out to eat you are getting double the points.

4 - Trip Protection & No Foreign Transaction Fee
Trip protection is a MUST HAVE if you travel once a year or a frequent flyer, to be safe. With this card, you get primary rental car insurance, trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel accident insurance, lost luggage reimbursement. Also not paying for any transaction fees when in another country is a significant win and maybe even saves you money if the US dollar is stronger.

5 - Annual Fee
Compared to the similar cards or the Shappire reserve which annual fee is $450. The Sapphire Preferred seems to be a better option for those who don't travel a majority of the year.
